OM: Ben Arfa likely to leave at the right price

(GSM) Olympique Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier has stated that troubled midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa may leave the club in January if the price is right.

Ben Arfa who was regarded as one of the best-rated talents in France has had problems concerning his attitude, following his move from Olympique Lyonnais to the Stade Velodrome in 2008.

While, the winger has failed to fulfill his potential, an argument with coach Didier Deschamps in November had made the move away from OM imminent.

But after the incident the France international has enjoyed a good run of form in the side following an injury to Mamadou Niang.

However, while Dassier admits he would love to see the player seize his chance in the remaining games before the transfer window reopens, he believes the player s attitude could mean he has no future at the club.

Ben Arfa can benefit from the injury to Niang, he told France Football.

This is his last chance! I have plainly explained this notion.

Clearly, he is not committed enough physically. He does not do enough for the team, does not sweat enough for the shirt. If that is what Didier thinks, I cannot contradict him.

I regret this deeply because, as a player, he has what it takes to be a great. Now, if the market is interesting, we will study the offers, so if there is a good option, yes, but he won t leave at any price.

The 22-year-old has already been linked with moves to Premier League club s of Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth.
